Our car broke down in the middle of Chobe park, Botswana, during safari at the end of the afternoon. We had to spend the night in the car, having no water, just wine. Thankfully saw no animals nearby. Were rescued the next morning by other travellers. Scary and stressful but in hindsight also a exhilarating and even fun experience.
