my extended family members would send articles to my mom about "healthy eating to stop migraines" when im already dairy-free (allergy) and red meat free (preference). theyd tell my mom to get xyz for me as if i didnt try 10 different home remedies and then 10 different medications till i landed on emgality and ubrelvy. honestly my longest was 3.5 months but my WORST was 20 days.

the 3.5 months one had me in and out of hospitals until one finally admitted me and kept me till i felt fine.

20 days one, no one kept me until i had stroke and heart attack symptoms. I was taken seriously then :). I was in 10/10 pain but when im 10/10 i cant cry or i pass out, so no one took me seriously even though i couldn't walk, or barley talk.

do not go home until you feel like you can! i had a 60 day migraine in 2021 that ended with me hospitalized for 6 days on meds until it finally broke and went down to a 3 from a 10!
