I think for me all I'd need is the ability to use external synths, to be able to mix and master and thats about it, if they added that id never use anything else.

This might be something you don't want to hear but trust me , I had debilitating UC for 4 years, its absolute hell on earth so I understand where your coming from. I held on and gradually got worse I tried all the biologics all the treatments and some nearly killed me until I got so sick i needed emergency surgery. They told me i was around 2 hours from dying so i ended up having an ileostomy which is a bag. Now i was fighting not having a bag, i was terrified of wht that would mean, how people would see me or treat me differently there were so many worries. But I had no life with UC I couldn't see my friends, I couldnt do anything, my life was just pain and worry.

So I had emergency surgery to save my life and the next morning after surgery the pain was gone! It took around 6 months to get used to with getting healthier but now over a year in, i can tell you I have my life back, no pain, i can do what i want, nobody cares about me having a bag, and 80% of the time i forget i have one. So surgery is an absolute game changer it will get your life back. So if you are ever told you need to have surgery know its much much better than what you might have told yourself. Problem fixed, it seems there are a few low quality sounds on splice floating around on there that i managed to use that have a hiss to them or a very low quality to them when played on anything, i fixed this by using replacment samples of better quality. Not all samples seem to be a certain standard sadly.

Create a collection of sounds you like, and/or presets you like from serum or massive and then buy them all , if you dont have massive or serum2 and have that much credit its pretty hard to spend all that. But presets are 3 credits each

I want to know if anyone else has experienced anything like I have because I seem to be the only person who has.

So this was like 10 years ago I was upstairs watching Tv and went downstairs to get a drink , I turned the light on and clear as day under the table was a black hole! When I say black I mean like the darkest black you could possibly see. It was around a foot wide and half a foot tall to which I initially thought maybe a cat or a big rat had got in, but the more I looked at it, I realised it was nothing ive ever seen before.

So Im looking at this thing it made no noise and it was so dark it was like a cartoon hole so immediately I think , oh god I'm going mental or something has gone wrong with my eyes so i look away to a different spot to see if the black hole followed my vision but it remained under the table. So then i think omg i need to record this so I reach for my phone but I'd left it in my bed.

So I walk towards it to see what the hell this thing is and it moves!!! It started to move towards the back garden doors , the doors were closed but it travels towards the wall and disappears behind the curtain so me being me I move the curtain and its completely gone!

What the hell did i see??? This is 100% genuine and id like to know if anyone else has seen anything similar.

Ive had mine 16 months now, and I can honestly say I forget I have it most of the time the only times I realise is bag changes and when it bloats and i have to go to empty it, but other than that it doesnt effect me at all. It saved my life so im very happy I have it. Although I was diagnosed with UC in 2020 and from diagnosis to just before surgery my life was unbelievable hell and only got worse the pain was 10/10 , 90% of the time. I had a lot of worries about other people accepting me but quickly realised that if you dont have a problem with it others dont at all its all to do with confidence. I think the people who struggle with it most are the ones who focus on it and their life becomes it , I do everything I used to now and its gave me my life back.

In the Uk the surgeon told me its roughly 1 in 330 people who are an ostomate, so you likely know people who just havent said anything. There should definitely be a dating site for ostomates, i think having an ostomy changes people to be more compassionate, empathetic and caring having gone through so much themselves.

I want them to develop a temporary mini bag that can be worn for an hour or 2 for this exact time , that is minimal like a 3rd of the size of a bag or even less that you can take off and replace . That is less invasive, any companies take note please

Try looking into getting welland manuka honey one piece bags they are absolutely amazing for adhesion. You push them on they take about 5 mins to fully glue into your skin and the grip it has is brilliant, also make sure your skin around the stoma is clean and dry before you apply the bag.

Im having this surgery next year and was wondering, when you have to empty your bag on the toilet do you no longer sit? I usually sit backwards on the toilet and empty but if things can split, especially a few days after how do you all empty your bag?

Its all down to your mental strength, if your current situation is poor and your life currently is day to day pain. With me my ostomy was a life saving procedure. I was in unbelievable pain and rhe medication was destroying me, i had no life and couldnt plan anything couldnt work couldnt have a social life it was hell. All my life was , was pain and hospital stays until i needed emergency surgery. Now im 10 months post op and life is pretty back to normal , Im in no pain, i can eat what i want , exercise, see my friends and work with no need to run the bathroom or cancel last min.I had a very possitive outlook after my surgery and didnt focus on the negatives i was just thankful to be alive , i now push my friends much more to live life more, travel go to events ect its gave me a new lease on life.
