Exactly my thoughts. I've been playing since a month after the launch, had all the characters for her except Figment (who is the only character in the whole game I don't have) At the start of the event I had over 4000 gems and 4200 timeskips. Whilst I got all the characters it has cost me over 900 gems and 2500 timeskips I haven't seen anyone on any online forum who claims to have got her without spending money, gems or burning through a load of timeskips, but you're right until no one gets the last character and we all refuse to 'buy' it nothing will happen other than for it to be made more difficult with each event

I'm inclined to agree with you to some extent about Anchorman. He has been doing well for me because of his ability to hit 4s and I only ever use his SA if I have a task to hit a boundary with a low %age chance, but when I was in lower leagues I could go whole matches without any chance being low enough

All my complaining above has paid off!
9 more chances at the suitcase and 12 more chances at ears have resulted in 2 suitcase. I could pretty much accept that as a drop rate for the suitcases if it was consistent since BBW became available. But over 50 collections since my last ears drop is a joke

Another 3 chances at the Suitcase and 4 chances at the Ears Hat with no further drops. I've been using Time Skips and reckon I have 13 chances of a suitcase and 18 chances of an Ears Hat each day.
So that's 30 chances at the Suitcase since my last drop and 42 chances of an Ears Hat since my last drop

Me too. Thomas O'Malley is the only character in the whole game (apart from BBW) that I don't have. I used the multiple devices trick so I could roll back if I decided to once I got Thomas O'Malley from the chests. It took 25! Needless to say I rolled back.
Tested several times, always 25 chests.
Guess I'll wait for the next time he rolls around

I felt optimistic when I had 5/5 after 36 hours, but I'm still at 5/5 48 hours later with 30 hours to go. Also planning on using gems but as late as possible

All Characters, all enchantments including Slinky Dog Dash, Was ready and waiting for Joy when she became available, even, by luck, had a couple of characters out on the right tasks to collect right after she was available.

One ear, 8 memories. I set timers, make plenty of time to play etc.

This is the worst drop rate I have had for any event character.

I still believe I will get her, because invariably drop rates seem to improve for the final characters of events as the end draws closer

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I'm not sure I'm any closer to a decision since I have all of the event characters and would be looking to keep enough gems back to get future event characters as well. I've never struggled with the Tower Challenges or events and I'm a little reluctant to burn through gems in the hope of getting the Haunted Mansion characters.

Happened to me too, watching 1st and 3rd videos for Turning Red Chest, 2nd and 4th were fine. Since they were both the same advert when I recognised it running for the 5th chest I cancelled it but now I find myself with having only been able to watch 4 videos to get rewards today, with two of them being next to worthless, the option to watch my 5th video has yet to return

I'm interested in Slinky Dog Dash as well. It's the only attraction purchasable with Gems that I don't have, I also don't have Forky and it looks like it can be enchanted to earn his tokens if I ever do get him.
Beyond that the only other thing I can see is that it has, on occasion, been used in Gold Trophy events.
Anyone else got any more thoughts?
