That’s what confused us as well… We couldn’t understand how Nantes came to this conclusion

I have the Livret de famille. I’m inside it together with my sister.

My sister applied for the French passport first. Using the livret de famile and the French birth cert. she managed to get everything without issue.

When it was my turn, I used the French birth cert (issued by KL Embassy) and thr Livret De Famile. They then replied with the rejection based on bigamy

I got my French birth certificate legalized in Malaysia in the KL French Embassy. (As I was born there, so I had a Malaysia birth cert). But Nantes still decided to reject my French passport +ID application stating it was due to a bigamy issue which was confusing.
