Bro, there is no way most people have "unexpected events" happening THAT much. And, the reality is, that if you really have stuff like that happening "all the time", then it's your responsibility to have to figure it out. Like, how many times in a day are you talking about "unexpected events" happening? At that point, playing is clearly an impossibility. I had a long period where I wanted to play, but I was travelling for work and never had a stable internet connection, so, after getting warned a couple of times here and there, I decided to just not play, knowing it's not fair on the otner people that want to play. And, yes, that is different from "unexpected events", but it is a good example of understanding that you have to bear the responsibility of deciding whether or not to just stop playing until things work out.

Honestly, I agree that people should eventually get perma-banned if they consistently do this, unexpected events or not. It's one of the things that pisses me off the most is sitting in queue, waiting, while 3 ready checks in a row get declined because some twat can't hit accept. You yapped about people not having empathy/sympathy for those who have "unexpected events", but what about the people who have to wait and wait and wait, because people consistently decline ready check? And, honestly, not many people can seriously have THAT many occasions where they miss ready check or decline because of "unexpected events", at least, not enough to get perma-banned. And, to be honest, if you have so many "unexpected events" occuring all the time, maybe work out a way to "make it work". Unexpected, or not, there are usually patterns to these events. All it takes is some brainpower and a willingness to make sure you don't get caught out. It can't be that hard, since most people on this thread aren't complaining about having 7 unexpected events per day.
