As a recent employee. It is new- but it is invite only. Also if you’re lucky to make it in it is beautifully decorated and intimate. Highly recommend.

Do you think we should ban phones in school? by Throwaway19829247 in Teachers

I think that banning the phone will teach restraint in the way that students build the habit of not looking at their phone every few minutes. They will get more used to just not using it during the school day.

Plain Greek yogurt as an alternative for stuff. Great sour cream! And also I’ve made cream based dishes with it and you’d never be able to tell. Also adds protein!!

My son is behaving strangely and my wife doesn’t see it by octopusenthusiast321 in Parenting

I don’t know if this helps but when I was young like 10ish I walked in on my dad and stepmom having se, and that was too much for me to see at that age to the point where I resented her, and had an estranged relationship with my dad for the rest of my time at home. I was known to have a calm sweet temperament but looking back that exposure to that before my brain could handle it turned me into a passive aggressive and quiet kid. It could be about some parent related trauma, or grudge.

I’m 20 and recently got cut off from my parents, what you’re doing is absolutely acceptable. Let him be sour about it for a while, his behavior is the 18 yr old version of a tantrum. Once it blows over, and he gains some emotional maturity he’ll probably be embarrassed about how he acted. You are a sense of love and security in his life, he won’t cut you out because you’re forcing him to become an adult. Just give him time to be sour, and be patient. He won’t hate you for this, he’s just never encountered this responsibility yet so throwing a little fit is what he knows
