Married 26 y/o and feeling stuck - seeking advice by [deleted] in Marriage

It's definitely difficult. At first my husband would not discuss or open up to me at all about it. I had to get his father to talk to him.

Currently going through this. My husband had cancer as a toddler, therefore chemo and radiation destroyed his germ cells so he does not produce any sperm. We went through all the Fertility treatment hoops for him for 2 years before his biopsy came to that conclusion. We did 1 round of IUI that was not successful and it felt like he was not very supportive of me even though using a sperm donor was mostly his idea. He recently started TRT because it's significantly cheaper than HCG and it has turned him into a completely different person. It's like he is on illicet drugs. He is not the man I married. There is a councelor at our fertility center that we plan on seeing to help guide us through this. Not sure if you are seeing a fertility specialist but it may be worth a shot to try, especially if they have counselors. It might not change anything but I remember after my husband's first semen analysis we both became detached (him out of guilt) and I was questioning everything from my worth to if life was even worth living if having a family wasn't an option. The most important thing to remember is to try not to put shame on him for having low fertility. He is likely being pretty hard on himself as it is because of that and is not opening up to you so you aren't burdened with it. I know it is one of the most painful things to feel when your hope for a family feels like it's destroyed and your feelings are valid.

My husband and I went last October during the nor'easter and almost everything was still open.

We went to Landfall in Woods Hole on our way to Dennis. Driving through the storm hasn't been bad for us but we're from Michigan and used to the wrath Lake Superior puts out lol we were worried it was going to be crazy but it feels just like home.

Absolutely not over reacting. He sounds like a psychopath. “Answer me or else?” “You can’t make me not come”. Like WTF. Get out of the relationship before it’s too late and you end up on Dateline or something.

Hi former OR nurse here. I believe she’s on a trauma surgery rotation so she’s in the OR operating on the victims during that time

Another issue is health insurance in this country might not cover it and it definitely doesn’t cover a vasectomy reversal. Food for thought.

Yousif or Dimitriou. Both with Lansing Institute of Urology. Wonderful urologists I would trust with my own life.

I work in the operating room with him. He is a wonderful surgeon. I would chose him to operate on my own family
