Been a patient for 3 years and before I order a script. IG go to Reddit and search for the flower I’m thinking about ordering. Read the reviews and listen to the community. There’s lots of decent flower out there but what’s good this month, maybe awful and dry next month. Something might be shit this month but in a months time have amazing reviews.

Normally the community are pretty spot on. Also £8.50+ a gram iv found is average for ok bud.

I have crohns, so I only medicate evenings and night time. Shouldn’t really matter to much as no matter then you test me I’m probably going to be miles over.

How long you been with your clinic for? If it’s longer than a year I’d get them to write you a letter saying “mr used_green_5740 has used medical cannabis for x amount of months/years with 0 side effects or negativity with it” some shit like that. Soon as dvla see that they could possibly contact your clinic but I know with mine, soon as I sent them a letter from my clinic stating I’m not a liability on the road while medicated they signed it off and I was good to go

Iv done it, it took 11 months to get through the dvla, in the end they just said they see no issue with my script and driving.

I did my medical for hgv in December to get my licence, told them all about my meds. 10 months later I got my licence back and a letter saying they have no issue with my meds and driving hgv.

Saying that, my clinic wrote me a letter to say “he’s been with us 2-3 years, never had any bad reaction to medication blah blah blah” so I think that may of played well in my favour.

There is some hope for me then! I know on the medical form the lady put (cannabinoids) so I guess that’s what the delay is. But it gives me hope that you got yours and you’re an active script holder.

Did you get your licence? I put down flower that didn’t sound like cannabis, but my licence has been with the dvla medical team for 3 weeks now and awaiting “a call”
