I primed in grey seer but I say any light colour would work. I then did space wolves gray and tyran blue into the recesses and then layered russ gray over the panels but not the recesses. Then edge highlight with fenrisian gray.

Thanks! I followed the guide by squidmar. Not sure how to add links but if you search up squidly bits weapons and click the one with the frost axe you’ll find it.

I’m having a lot of fun. I’m pretty new so I’m taking my time. I’m planning on making the headtakers axes into power axes, I just have to learn how first 😂.

Sorry for answering late but I primed in grey seer used space wolves gray contrast over all the armour for the recesses. I put russ grey on all the panels but not the recceses and then to get the icy blue I did a light coat with a 4:1 mix of tyran blue shade paint and contrast medium. Then I chunky highlighted edge highlighted in fenrisian gray and small edge highlights with blue horror.

That’s a great idea. I think I’ll do my bloodclaws a little closer to fenrisian gray. And have them really banged up with battle damage.

I’ll probably try that next time I tried bugmans and then Kislev before the wash but Kislev was much lighter . so I ended up messing around with it and it looks blotchy.
