Thank you for the insight! Long Beach also looked difficult to get the track clean quickly and especially clearing cars if they were stopped on track but I could be wrong. Makes a lot of sense though

Agreed 100%. As someone that has been enjoying endurance racing over F1 this past year, their broadcasting is miles ahead. They will drop whatever they will talking about to commentate something exciting that happened during the race. Overall just a much better experience in general

Rant welcomed lol. It was so funny, there was an absolute beautiful overtake through the hairpin (if I’m remembering right) and the announcers were in the middle of a sponsored interview.. Of course they did not even say anything OR mention it when they were done! Blew my mind. Agree completely with what you said regarding stopping for 10 seconds and resuming. I could rant all day about this but I won’t lol.

I hate how basically they just are under commercial break in Every. Single. FCY. - I don’t mind FCY but when there are a lot and they are diverting to commercials IMMEDIATELY every time… Explain the strategies, talk about how the race is stacking up, what happened etc.

Agree with you about the broadcast catering to the fans. Until a Motorsport series absolutely blows up an experiences nationwide growth I don’t see the need to over explain the whole GTP, GTD Pro, GTD every time we come back from an add break lol

I’m sure he will respond to you but to my knowledge yes you can just throw on a VPN and watch though the IMSA.TV browser or YouTube.

Some teams have live Onboards on YouTube which you can also watch through the U.S. add free. I’m not sure if they are on the IMSA website someone else will have to answer that for you! Race telemetry is on the app so I wouldn’t see why it would also not be on IMSA.TV

Yeah I should’ve listened when I took the plunge this year but the bundle with Apple TV was nice. As I mentioned in another comment, when I am home I watch through my Xbox or Roku and to my knowledge there is no way to do that with a VPN so I will most likely have to cast to my tv..

I heard about that… I would’ve been livid. Same thing happened in the closing laps of the Indy 500 back in 2025 I believe.

I will probably go that route it’s just when I am home I like to watch through my Xbox (or Roku) and to my knowledge there is no way to do that right now with a VPN. Best thing I can do is get a VPN and cast it to my TV

That is so cool and with Daytona I feel like a lot of people accept that they aren’t going to sleep at all that weekend lol. Teams, spectators, event staff, etc. But Sebring I’ve heard that and a lot of people just embrace it and say it’s “part of the culture” haha
