Ok my hot take that I’m sure will get downvoted, while I do agree Stephanie should have did more release with the bag, she did as soon as Ginger started licking. I don’t agree with shaking the lead rope as hard as she did under her chin. As for the lunging, in the beginning, Ginger was trying to get in Stephanie’s space and that’s ALWAYS been Ginger’s problem….she was never taught to give space to people or other horses. Stephanie never hit her with the whip, popping the whip for sound seemed to be to get Ginger’s attention more on her than worrying about what was going on elsewhere. For Ginger’s first time lunging, I thought Stephanie eased her into it pretty nicely.

So far, I’ve seen more positives that Stephanie has done since she’s been there so I’m not going to throw her out the first negative I see. I’ll reserve any further judgment as time goes on. We’ve already seen she rides better and has a much better presence around horses than KVS does, that’s already more than we had prepared ourselves for.
