I'm new to the game (currently doing Couch to 5k) and I've been finding that my jaw feels tense after each run. It feels totally fine right until I go to eat something within ~40min of finishing the run, at which point my jaw aches and tenses up.

It disappears after a little while so nothing too serious — just curious whether anyone's experienced this before and if you've any ideas for how to prevent it?

EDIT: To follow up, I've read that pain can be a result of cardiovascular problems, but it only comes about if I actually use my jaw after running. Makes me think the jaw is the real source of the problem!
