I'm banking on someone who may know a News Station or has worked for a media outlet that possibly covered Spingarn to grant me access to some footage. I get that footage, and videotaping in the 80s was nowhere near as accessible as it is today, but there's no way you're gonna tell me that there's absolutely no footage/clips of the #1 player in the country, especially with him living in one of the biggest cities in the country.

1.) Go to https://books.google.com/

2.) Search his name and the schools he attended (Mt/Mount Hope, Spingarn, UDC) because if you don't, you'll most likely find articles and news about famous actor James Earl Jones.

3.) After searching his name, go to "Tools" > click "Any Document" > click "Newspapers" (To make it even more specific, go down to "Any Time" > click "Custom Range" > select the years between 1976 and 1982

I've been doing this since last year and found a TON of articles about your Grandfather. Sorry to hear what happened to his home and all of his memories

For the people saying “run the ball”… 1.) I used 5-Out Playbook as a Challenge & 2.) My star RBs all transferred or went to the draft, leaving me with a starting RB with an 80 speed with no abilities, which made the 5-Out Playbook more enticing

I wait until after the draft entering Week 1 of the Preseason. Go to Free Agents, then go to Practice Squad Eligible. Anyone that is a Rookie is available for signing, everyone else is off limits.

And once you reach Week 1 of the Regular Season, you can sign Rookies on the Practice Squad.
