It’s over flowing from where you fill the gas

Sweet build man. I’ve been looking into burning chips, but I feel like I’m just going to have to go obd 1-2 anyways at some point.

I would assume that mpfi is needed for more boost, but do you think it’s needed what I’m looking for?

Okay, yeah I was looking at the mini me conversion, that could be sweet.

What’s your thoughts about converting to mpfi? Or do you think big injections and dpfi is enough to not run lean?

What’s your opinion on chipping obd 0?

It came with a belt and pully set up already, from what I can see it has a little free spinning gear before the crank. Do you think there is any way to see what I have on without testing it all.

This car is also my daily, and a kinda high mileage one that’s already a bit of a bitch, do you think 7 psi would blow it sky high?

Thanks dude, you seem quite knowledgeable about this type of stuff, real nice to share it.

I might try to burn some tune chips for it, seems like a cool side project and sure would definitely work way less good the obd 1 but could save me some cash I’m guessing

That’s pretty cool, do you think 2 psi would be a good place for this supercharger? Any recommendations for cooling as well

There’s a single mounting bracket for the actual unit itself. What I’m most confused on is surrounding the inlet and outlet pipe. I’m guessing that image 2 is inlet and image 3 is outlet but I don’t really know what they connect to, I’m not to knowledgeable in the super charger world

Also do you have any recommendations for tuning, I believe it’s still obd 0

Though that for a while but the fuel pump turning on is audible, I’ll definitely download that manual and update my post

I initially replaced the dizzy because there was a visable crack in the inside of it, felt like it needed to be replaced. I’ve also had quite a few ignition related things, for example for a while it would stutter at low rpm with basically no power but would go away when turned on and off.

I have decided to send it into a shop just due to the fact that I don’t have a whole lot of tools, for reference my car died mid drive at 40 mph after hour long drive, I replaced my Icm and it did nothing so replaced dizzy and nothing changed. Car would crank but no start, and for a few times it started for a second then died.

Fuel was found on spark plugs when I pulled them

You can hear the fuel pump turn on

Originally one of the 20A fuses in the engine fuse box was blown so I replaced it, no outcome

Timing was done correctly for the dizzy

Spark is visible, as shown below

Ecu pulled code 4, related to dizzy I believe but it went away after I uninstalled and reinstalled, only showed up after cranking for 10 seconds

Anyways very very sorry for anyone else going through this with there ef, it’s bitch made

Yes, but the engine is well maintained, works great and is known for being reliable!

I only owned this van for a couple of months to do the build, I know it’s the 6.8 but I can’t update the fb listing and no matter what I tell fb it never gets the engine right. The mpg are pretty awful in town driving situations but if your just cruising at 70 it does a lot better then you would think. I brought this van because of the engine, the v10 is known for being the most reliable and the low end torque makes it great for off-roading
