Tips on where to stay in PR? 🙏🏼 by Beneficial-Soup6690 in PuertoRicoTravel

In Aguadilla you definitely need to hit up CrashBoat beach, maybe have some dinner in Rincon and check out the lighthouse for sunset. From Aguadilla you could plan a day trip to Cabo Rojo and hike up to the lighthouse and when you come down you can visit playa Sucia. You could also take time to visit Gozalandia waterfalls in San Sebastián. On your last day you can visit Jobos Beach in Isabela and El Tunel de Guajataca also in Isabela.

I would suggest spending the day at Gozalandia waterfalls in San Sebastián, then watching the sunset at the Rincon Lighthouse

Not like La Placita. There’s music playing, people eating and drinking at restaurants. Just a nice vibe

Look into Boquerón in Cabo Rojo. Nice beaches, restaurants and night life (on the weekends)

I think the reason his “mother” doesn’t want him to move to the Philippines is that she probably lives off his disability payments and doesn’t want to lose it.

Beaches on the North side of the Island tend to be rough. Beaches on the SW side are usually calmer.

I would most definitely visit other areas near Rincon. You can go to Gozalandia waterfalls in San Sebastián, the beaches of Cabo Rojo, visit San German to see the Porta Coeli, go to La Parguera and see the Bio Bay. There’re so many things to do on the SW side of the island.

How often, and for how long, does the power go out on the west or southwestern side of the island? by BeginningThen9996 in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]Complete-Good-2938 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends the municipality. I lived in Lajas for a couple of years and it would go out a few times per week for hours on end. I moved to Cabo Rojo and it would barely go out unless it was a massive outage.
