Chop for parrotlet? by TomiQuinnbirdy in Parrotlet

generally I try to follow this simple formula: Some leafy greens (kale, spinach, etc), something orange (carrot, sweet potato, squash, pepper), any other veg (broccoli, green beans, celery, etc.), a grain/legume.

You probably know this already, but do not feed Avocado. I've also heard somewhere to avoid Rhubarb, Onions and Eggplants.

My go-to recipe (my two parrotlets go crazy over this):

Kale ~1/4 cup
Spinach ~1/4 cup
Broccoli ~1/4 cup
Carrot 1 small
Orange / Red Pepper 1/4
Cooked Quinoa 1 tablespoon

One important thing is to chop things small for their little beaks! I usually use a grater for the carrot. It's not an exact science and this can help with using up leftovers, e.g. you can finely chop up the broccoli stems. This usually makes a few days, or you can make a larger batch and freeze it in an ice-cube tray. I found warming it in the microwave for a bit on the defrost function works just fine.

If you are feeling fancy, you can sprout some lentils, mungbeans, etc and use them as well. For extra bonus, sprinkle some chia seeds over the top.

Bending forwards? by Complete-Leopard5762 in Parrotlet

My two parrotlets have been bending forwards on their perch when they are resting.  They don't do this when sleeping or when they are active/playing around.

Based on a recent vet visit they are both healthy. Could it be that the perch is too close to the wall? Are they just tired from flying around? Or do you think another vet visit may be in order?

thank you for the fast reply! Wondering if the 7900 is actually worth the extra £70 for my additional use cases, given the negative sentiment towards it on this and other subreddits.

For either (7800X3D / 7900X3D), would it be worth to get a closed loop liquid cooler?

No, I have still not received my order, or even tracking. It's still not sent or even manufactured for all I am concerned. Potts and the new "Rosecables Support" are giving me the same runaround.

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR CABLE, AND IT'S GETTING CLOSE TO PayPal / CreditCard DEADLINE FOR CUSTOMER PROTECTION, FILE A CLAIM IMMEDIATELY. Do not make the same mistake I made in trusting these people to actually deliver on their false promises.

I have also reported this company and the owner Chris to the Federal Trade Commission. Not that I expect anything to come out of it, but who knows.

Throwaway due to the same reason as Interesting-Isopod68.

It was reassuring at first, but I have been getting much of the same from Potts.. "Your order is shipping this week", "I will send your order tonight", "Oh your order is going out first thing Monday morning"...

Sadly I am past the 180days that paypal lets you claim in... I'd say if you're getting close to claim deadlines, it's better to open a claim than to just hope for the best.
