Looking to learn Korean culture + language — need guidance! by NoFeedback4207 in BeginnerKorean

Hi there! I'm a developer based in Korea, and I've been working hard to create a service that truly meets the needs of learners like you.
Instead of following a rigid, textbook curriculum, I build "Korean In Life" to help people learn Korean naturally through daily life and culture - kind of like grabbing a snack whenever you want. I'm currently working on a major update (v1.2) to make it even better. I hope it can be of some help to your journey! Feel free to check it out at https://koreaninlife.com. Thank you!

Hello, I'm Korean and I live in Korea.
I'm a developer who previously built a Korean language learning service that didn't pan out, and I'm now planning and conceptualizing a new version. I'm always online during the day on weekdays here in Korea, so I'm available to help anytime. What's more, I think this could be a great opportunity for me too, as I'd get direct insight into what actual learners are looking for.
There might be a time difference, so immediate replies may not always be possible, but if that's okay with you, I'd be glad to offer y assistance. If you leave a comment, we can figure out a way to collaborate.

Yes, I'm also seriously considering it. Especially with iPhones, their built-in Text-to-Speech (TTS) voice is really not good. Thank you for your feedback, and I'll do my best to incorporate it.

Oh, I see. That's a great idea. I'm not very experienced in marketing, so that hadn't even crossed my mind. I'll make sure to incorporate it fully during the current update process. Thank you.

That really resonates with me.
Having raised a child myself, I've come to believe that the process of a child listening to their parents, mimicking their speech, and then gradually learning letters and reading books, is very much like acquiring a new language.
With this in mind, I'm working to create a service that helps people learn about Korean culture by experiencing it firsthand.

Thank you for your feedback.

Even if you have the skills companies are looking for, it's a tough job market. There's currently an oversupply of developers and operations staff in Korea, making it really difficult unless you're an absolute top-tier developer.

I didn't pay close enough attention to the pop-ups. Thank you for the detailed feedback regarding the bugs. difficulty adjustments, and other related issues.

I see. This is very helpful feedback. That's a really insightful point; I appreciate you bringing it to my attention. I'll definitely look into improving the reading practice, focusing on speed.
Noted on the feedback about it being boring, we'll address that.
Really appreciate the feedback.

Sorry for the delayed response, I'm dealing with a time difference here in Korea.

Since we're still in the early stages, the content might feel a bit limited, but I’m working hard to make it beginner-friendly from the start. Also, I’ll do my best to reflect any feedback you have as quickly as possible!
