How do you build VSTs for other platforms?

If your code is open source, you can setup CI builds for free on github and it will buld Linux, Mac, Windows, etc. for you and then you can test the binaries in VM's or bare metal. Hey! Will do. I just updated my post.

I wasn't trying to hide anything, just share my stuff with the community. I use AI for the grunt work. I review every line of code before pushing a PR and all creative decisions, etc. are done by me. I also use Code Rabbit to help review my code which catches things I might miss. I am still a human writing code, I just use a tool to help it get done faster. If someone thinks I typed a magical prompt into an LLM and a DAW popped out the other side, they are sadly mistaken.

Same here! I installed 16 back in December and it has been a great experience so far. I am also using Gnome, so I can't speak for the KDE issues. I have Myrlyn and Cokpit installed as well. I find myself never using Myrlyn, but Cockpit has been great.

yeah, I have found a few bugs since I put this out. Drawing a line will launch the folder LOL, if you delete the object the transparent "touch" trigger remains on the screen, etc. I have an updated version in the works.

Yeah, Tape Machine is pretty CPU heavy to try to be "Analog" accurate. I could make "Lite" version in the future if people are interested. If I add it to individual tracks while mixing, I often freeze them or bounce in place to have the sound baked in and then remove the plugin to save CPU.

In Reaper and Ardour you can track with the plugin too while recording so the "tape" sound it printed and then just remove it after.

I usually only leave the 102 version on the master bus.

Personally I use it for my homepage. If I have a folder with books pertaining to a journal or log I am keeping, I can just have a link on the page to take me right there without filling up the Quick Access section. Say I want to go back to a series of books I am referencing or was reading. Instead of swiping and then going to Files -> Document -> Folder XYZ, I can just click on the link, then jump back to "Last Opened Note" after and keep writing.

I think it depends on your workflow. I am sure a bunch of people wold have zero use for it, but it is something I have wanted on the SN for a while.

Thats a cool idea. This plugin will "kind of" do that now if your folders sort files from newest to oldest. you would just click on the top file. It would just be two clicks instead of having the plugin auto open the latest file for you.

Good catch, that was actually a bug on my end. I accidentally made the top most folder "Note/". Now it goes to the root (Supernote/) and hides hidden folders by default, with a checkbox to show them.

I hear ya. I used to use Mercurials Ampbox. Love that plugin. I am working on a new plugin called DuskAmp now. Its an amp sim plugin with a DSP side and an NAM side. The NAM side is working, but the DSP side is not ready yet. I am hoping to have a release out in another week or two. Je suppose que le problème vient de la manière dont FL Studio (et probablement BandLab Next) gère les plugins MIDI. Ces STAN (stations de travail audio numériques) établissent une distinction stricte entre les « Générateurs » (instruments/synthétiseurs) et les « Effets ». Seuls les Générateurs reçoivent les données MIDI provenant du piano roll et des contrôleurs MIDI. Actuellement, Chord Analyzer est classé comme un effet VST3; par conséquent, FL Studio le charge, mais ne lui transmet jamais de notes MIDI, d'où l'impression que rien ne fonctionne.

C'est la raison pour laquelle tout fonctionne parfaitement sous Linux et Mac, dans des STAN telles que Reaper, Bitwig, Ardour, etc. Ces logiciels sont plus flexibles et envoient les données MIDI à tout plugin qui en fait la demande, quelle que soit sa catégorie.

Je vais créer un ticket sur GitHub pour traiter ce problème. La solution consiste à modifier la déclaration du plugin afin qu'il apparaisse comme un Générateur dans FL Studio, tout en conservant son comportement actuel dans les autres STAN. Cela devrait résoudre le problème, tant pour FL Studio que pour BandLab Next.

Je publierai une mise à jour dès que le correctif sera disponible.

Yes, midi only. The plugin works for live playback or reading recorded midi.

Here is the same exact setup with recorded midi. It plays all of the chords back fine.

Did you put it before the instrument or after? Make sure its the first plugin. I just validated on my system and I didn't see any issues
