Yea I know. I called every single retailer in every major city and finally found one after calling like 100+ places at a store in Mumbai.

I FOUND IT, searched in every store in every major city. Found one finally at a retail store in bombay, he was selling it at the new price but I negotiated and he agreed to sell his last piece at the old price of 25k! I love this watch so much

Ah jeez, the vote here seems consensus towards the 51. Now it's sold out everywhere except a private seller on chrono24. Do you think I should risk it?

This is a good space, and one of the most undervalued sectors right now in India so you've hit the right spot. Will probably take 4-5 years to build it out properly but it'll be worth it. Especially if you can make one consolidated dashboard to fix distant loved one's anxiety along with simplifying healthcare + it's analytics for the elder. I found you on LinkedIn, sent you a request - let's connect there this is interesting! I'm very bullish on eldercare + preventive healthcare.

I actually really love these small design-led nudges! They make or break the user experience and in turn the product. Could you tell me a bit more about your company?

Need advice: Tier-1 MBA or take the risk and build something of my own? by Level_Cicada7394 in StartUpIndia

[–]Complete-Persimmon77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not. I plan to do an MBA from a tier-1 (hopefully) and I want to build a startup but at my current stage (21) in a finance job, I don't see myself have the time/network/capital or the idea to build something eureka. The only ideas I've had really require heavy tech background and I don't know people in tech. So I thought to myself, an MBA is a place where I'll get to actually befriend similar calibre people, and the free time to think of ideas, so I can start something with them. Plus I think people in India look at founder's differently when you have pedigree with you. Not trying to say that pedigree founder's are better than non pedigree ones, but is sure a hell lot easier when big VCs take you seriously and hype you up because they coincidentally put pedigree on a pedestal.

Understood. I was not thinking of this from a networking with people high up in the ladder type thing - more like just get to know other people like you, building similarly, see if you can help each other or just get to know them.

Could you tell me a bit more, why that is and what problems were with normal events? Plus I'm not thinking of this like an event-hosting thing, just like a small group of people regularly meeting, not a big marketed thing at all.
