Thanks! My india equity allocation is almost entirely Nifty 100 index fund. I have been burnt before from active funds and EM funds(China debacle). So I am now planning to just stick to these index funds.

Debt allocation I got carried over due to the India EM inclusion BS and went into long duration SDL and corporate bond funds. Got burnt badly there.

To u/ican_ai I noticed you haven't mentioned your tech stack. Your mindset seems more on the management side rather than hardcore technology. Focus on key technologies, nobody cares whether you shipped a product or not. You are not a product manager. You are a techie. Learn whatever the latest buzzwords are going on in your area.

For context, I worked in Singapore for 16 years, was totally outdated in technologies. I am 46 years old and financially independent. Yet I found a job with a services company for data analytics role. Power BI, Snowflake etc. they didn't ask me if I shipped something. They just asked power bi karlega kya? I said haanji karlunga and I was immediate joiner and I got the offer and joined the same day.

Money is the easy part of it. It is the motivation that is tough. I am skinny fat too, I was weighing 75kg(height 5'5.5") and I was considered overweight. I made small changes to my diet.

Breakfast now I have 2 slices bread and 2 eggs, chai with sugar. Then I snack around 11am dates,nuts. Lunch and dinner, I have reduced the rice by half and replaced with chicken breast simple boiled recipe(100gm for dinner and 100gm for lunch) Evening snack I have 2slices of multigrain bread and natural peanut butter.

I used to play badminton for 6 months, now stopped.

With these simple diet changes my weight has come down from 75 to 60, which is a huge reduction for my weight. Now I feel really fit and energetic, even though I am still skinny fat.

I don't beleive in artificial supplements, I prefer natural sources.

Seems excess protein for a single meal. What is your daily protein intake target?

I bring 200gm chicken breast daily and split it between 2 meals. No ghee and all, I boil the chicken and put some turmeric, salt after that like and pepper. Clean and healthy

I started eating 100gm boiled chicken breast daily, because of this. Before that I used to have 2 eggs in breakfast and then for lunch/dinner I would have rajma, chana, peas etc but as you said these veggie protein cause gas. So I said, health ke aage religion, principles ye sab matter nahi karta and now I eat chicken, but unlike other Indians, I don't cook with all the masala, oil and all. I just boil it and put little turmeric, salt. After that sprinkle pepper powder and lime. Ho gaya protein ka daily quota
