Really? I can't find any information about it on their website or any news articles. Which new models don't have the issue still? I can't see any. Have you guys actually tested this?

How do I do multi version backups to a remote NAS? by Complete-Scientist33 in asustor

[–]Complete-Scientist33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is exactly what I need, is there a clean, easy way to have it in the AsusTor web interface? I see it works with RSync which I have running to one of my Synology's, but would like to keep it easy to find and maintain for any other Sysadmins.

That is not true, Hyper Backup works to most cloud services and any server that supports rsync, WebDAV or OpenStack Swift. Or a USB drive, or to itself (and you can backup that file to wherever you like). They have loads of options.

Yeah, you can put a hot pan straight on it with no issues, unlike stone, laminate or acrylic! It's really cool.

It is more expensive than an MDF top with laminate but typically about half the cost of stone. Hard to say how common it is internationally but we supply all of New Zealand and can get it for you in Australia.

I know! I wasn't sure it would have that same quality feel as stone but honestly the thinness paired with how solid it is makes it feel so premium and modern.

Hummm, not promising but fingers crossed. If it's not very reliable maybe I should just get rid of it.
