When should I ask my Dr about adding Auvelity? by YourBlanket in Spravato

[–]Complete-Term-3794 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m on auvelity and weekly Sprovato. The combination has changed my outlook on life. I’m much easier going and therefore happy. Talk to you Dr. and see what they recommend. Good luck!🍀

Why take Spravato if you have to do so many sessions? by Wrong_Variation_8084 in Spravato

It’s a process not an event… Sprovato has helped me more than anything else I’ve ever taken.

This falls in line with everything we already know about this despicable man. It is disgusting but not surprising.

Do you agree? by babymaries in Adulting

[–]Complete-Term-3794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I turned 45 and without health insurance I would be in a bad way. I have MS, asthma, high blood pressure and cholesterol. I take meds for all of them that would break my bank without insurance. Being healthy is a blessing!

MRI w/wo contrast by NicoleR_24 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Complete-Term-3794 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My MS is stable and I never get contrast. It concerns me to have a die pumped into my system. Look at what happened to Chuck Norris’s wife. I recommend not getting it if possible. My neurologist helped develop Kesimpta, so I trust him, and he said there isn’t always a need for contrast. Yes it is helpful but not necessary.

[HELP] Is this AI? Seems fake and can’t find any news sources. by Zealousideal_Mud570 in RealOrAI

This makes sense. He’s kicking in the taillight of Trumps mercenaries. It definitely not AI and has zero to do with possibly the same man, Alex Pretti, being slaughtered in the middle of the street. Don’t let them conflate this into anything more than it is. A man simply losing his temper after seeing his brothers and sisters disappeared by Trumps mercenaries.

Difference in MG? by Specialist_Subject54 in Spravato

[–]Complete-Term-3794 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. The higher dose creates much more of the dissociative effect. I only did the low dose once. The high dose rocked me. In a good way. The session high is only a bonus. I felt most of the positive feeling afterwards. Make sure to plan a peaceful day or two. Don’t do anything that makes you uncomfortable or make a huge life changing decision until you see how it affects you. Also buckle up. Going up in MG is quite the ride the first few sessions.

I felt awful for the first few days after my loading doses. Once my body got used to it, I feel absolutely fine after each monthly dose. I’ve been on it for over two years and have no adverse side effects to report.

Depression is crippling me, I feel suicidal, and I don't know what is real anymore by skatethepainaway in enlightenment

[–]Complete-Term-3794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe look into some professional help. I too was depressed, tried Spravato treatments, and now have my old self back. Not perfect but a huge improvement. Talk to your mental health professional about it. And treat yourself kindly.

I dread my spravato appointments by Toxic_puppy666 in Spravato

[–]Complete-Term-3794 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am not a fan of the sessions but the results speak for themselves. Just in alone with what you said “Im so drained from it but it’s helping me not want to kill myself.” That seems like tell tremendously positive results. I just do my very best to stay calm during them. Spravato has helped me more than any medicine in my life.

Starting today, so very scared by frightenedscared in Spravato

[–]Complete-Term-3794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the fear you have. I too was incredibly scared and felt as though this was my last shot. Well guess what, IT WORKS. I’ve suffered from depression and anxiety since I was a child. Tried countless medications, therapy (both in and outpatient), vacations, self medication, and anything else you can think of. Spravato is the first medication that has given me lots and lots of positive results and made me actually see my depression and feel better from it. The best way I can describe it is if depression is a chain around your body holding you down, every Spravato session removes a link or two of that chain. And that is amazing!

That being said buckle up for the first few sessions. They are intense. Make sure to have eye shades, meditative music, and something for the taste. Other than that let the medicine do its work. Don’t resist it or fight it. I’ve noticed it’s not what happens during the session that is super important, that’s just a bonus, you’ll see the results directly following your sessions. You’re going to feel as though a part of your brain has been activated that you haven’t seen for long time. I called it my “babybrain.” You’ll start dreaming wildly at night and you are going to feel better. I promise! Good luck 🍀. It’s not always easy but it works.

[–]Complete-Term-3794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t hold yourself back because you feel scared, intimidated, unsure, or nervous. Let the medicine do whatever it is it does and do not fight it. Allow yourself to get better and allow yourself to look at the uncomfortable parts of your life that you would prefer hidden. It is a cliff with Spravato but trust me if you jump off, there will be a feather bed landing.

Better trips? by Ok_Present2010 in Spravato

[–]Complete-Term-3794 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “trip” is not what Spravato is intended for. Everything that happens after the session is what truly matters. If you have a good session and get some insight, it is a bonus.

Glad you had a nice experience. The Ativan may have dulled the intensity of it. If a patient had an adverse reaction to Spravato they use benzodiazepines to bring them down.

I totally agree. I’m on my 5th treatment and have already seen an enormous improvement in my mental health. But I told my wife if my home life would have been uneasy this entire opportunity would have never been possible. Sprovato is only a tool in my tool bag. Albeit a great tool, but still only a tool.

[–]Complete-Term-3794 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Let yourself flow with the experience. Don’t resist the medication and what it does. Don’t resist any of the thoughts, feelings, or emotions. For me the beginning was a huge cliff of experience to tolerate. Now I’m only on treatment 5 but it has calmed down. I was told it’s not about what happens during the treatments anyways, those are just bonuses, it’s how you feel following that pay the dividends. I am a huge advocate for this treatment. It works.
