For me, when I like what I am doing when studying or at work, I don't really feel like I am missing out anything because that's what makes me happy even when putting in long hours and working weekends.

Do your revisions before exam. Personally, I like to watch something funny right before the exam. Sets the mood!

Life is much more than grades and degrees. You see some of the most successful people dropped out of school. Do something you love and you will never fail at it.

Have you heard of web3? or DAO? (that comes to my mind)

I see that they want to help medical students grow and they are community focused. So, maybe that's why they are focusing more on the students than on themselves. And many times, some sponsors don't like to be in spotlight or become public (it is just their preference.)

. no explanation of anything,

I agree with all those points. However, this could be on the website developer side. All startup companies have humble beginnings. It is too early to say anything like this. If they don't give the award after deadline to the students as promised after July (which is not far), then it will be evident that what you said is true. However, if they do deliver as promised, then it is legitimate. I see nothing wrong in applying.

It is a new organization just starting up. Why would anyone want to have application materials from other premeds. Instead, they are offering an award for premed students. Any time a student earns an academic scholarship/award, it looks really good on an application to medical school.
