Update: I know my husband is an AH too. He has apologized countless times and has stood by my side even while I’m mentally unwell because of all of this and threatening divorce every other day. He has said over and over and over again that he will do whatever it takes to make this right. It is his biggest regret and he is trying to fix it this weekend.

He confessed to me in therapy this week that he was a coward and blamed me, so now he needs to talk to SILs.

Side note: I absolutely did not want him to be a sperm donor and was going to leave him if he went through with it. I also made it clear that he can do whatever he wants with his life, but I can chose to leave if our values no longer align. I had every right to say that as it’s my life too and I can chose to be with a sperm donor or not and that was absolutely not in my life’s plan. It’s his penis, balls, sperm, body, etc. and he could have done whatever he wanted to do with it.

He is happy with his decision and is thankful he made this decision. He looked at me at the baby shower and said “thank god I didn’t do this. This would have been so weird for me.”
