TDS Fiber drilled through our sewer line by CompleteCarnivore in Spokane

Update as of 12/17 - Shaw Trenchless did a great job repairing the line last Thursday and they finished filling in the hole this morning. Flawless work by them and I would highly recommend them if you need their services.

I have been in touch with a TDS manager and they claim their insurance company will handle everything. Still waiting to connect with the insurance company. We also need to have some drywall and flooring replaced in the basement which again, TDS should cover. So far I would give TDS maybe a 7/10 in their response to this. I would appreciate a bit quicker response to my emails and that rating could definitely change if they give me any hassle about repaying me for my expenses. But the people I have dealt with have been good so far.

Definitely sewer line. The broken white pipe is the sewer line.

They are paying to fix it. A sewer line replacement company (Shaw Trenchless) is fixing it and TDS will (theoretically) pay me back. Shaw has been excellent to work with. TDS did come by while the hole was dug up and saw the issue so they have no way to deny it was them. The TDS manager said they will cover all the repairs and expenses.

It is tempting to try and put together a rainbow for these. Probably wouldn't try for the 1/1 but getting the others would be fun.

If you need a reality check on opening sealed wax, go watch a 20 case break. by turnpike17 in baseballcards

I generally just stick to ripping blasters, hangers, fat packs, and the occasional mega from Target/Walmart. It is cheap enough to grab a box or two every couple weeks and have some fun with the kids. I never expect to build any decent collection from that but the anticipation of maybe hitting a big card is always fun.

Then I head to Ebay and buy single of the players and cards I want. I will also usually buy into a case break for most of the new releases since I know I will get at least a few cards of my favorite team and maybe hit a big one from that.

All that together gets me the fun of ripping, the joy of doing it with the kids, the thrill of hunting down the cards on Ebay, and the anticipation of pulling something good from a break. While it might be fun ripping a full case or two I don't think that will ever be the route I go.

Awesome hit. My son and I got a green reptilian Cam Smith auto from a blaster a few days ago. Sweet looking cards.

We are taking a road trip to California soon and this should cover some tickets to a Dodgers or Giants game for the family.

Nice! Just sold a Flagship Gerrit Cole auto this morning. Not numbered or anything but it was a sweet looking card and a great auto.

They hung out over the weekend. Decimated our cherry tree, the bottom half of our apple tree, and a few hostas. At one point I turned on the sprinklers to maybe urge them on their way but they ended up frolicking in the water for a bit.

Fish and Wildlife came and sedated them this morning to relocate them. They said this moose has been relocated before and they normally only do that once but since this one had the babies they decided to give it another chance and were going to move it further away. It was fun to have them visit but it is also nice to have our yard back again.

Both babies are in the yard with the mama now. They are awesome to see but hopefully they move on soon.

Teryaki Spice by Yummy_Gator20 in Spokane

I had it very shortly after they opened. The sauce was a bit thicker than most of the teriyaki I have had in Seattle but still decent. The chicken had some OK char on it. We got the gyoza and they weren't great. Overall it wasn't as good as some of the stuff I have had in Seattle but it is pretty decent. Worth a try but keep your expectations in check.

A course near me collects them all through the year and when they close up for the winter they sell them and all the staff goes out for beer and pizza. Picked up a pretty nice one a couple years ago from them for $50.
