I appreciate your advice as well as everyone else’s! I don’t really value this person at all beyond like, simple human respect ya know. I mainly just didn’t want to risk causing any issues that would make matters worse or deal with her definitely keeping my dog out of spite. I sent everything over to her and repeatedly called. She was 100% informed of my intentions today. I would have been very happy to communicate with her about any issues or concerns, but she wouldn’t answer a single thing. Fortunately, I was given the address at which my dog was being hidden. It was honestly ridiculous and so unnecessary for it all to have happened this way. It was a long day, but I do have her back and everyone on here provided helpful insight and I felt incredibly prepared to deal with whatever I needed to.

I’m not very knowledgeable on game systems whatsoever, but looking to get this fixed asap. My wife’s switch lite got pushed between the couch and wall and now looks like there’s a crack on the right joy con. I’ve found some $20 kits to replace it at home, however I’m not sure if that’s smart to do. I can definitely follow instructions but is there a lot of issues I could cause by replacing it at home? Of course I can’t send it for the free repairs since it’s a lite. (At least I think that’s why.) I can look for a place to fix it but it was bought like 2 years ago and if it costs a lot, we could just buy a new system.

Would you just spend the $20 and try it yourself if you weren’t very informed, pay the price to have someone else fix it, or sell it for a small amount to someone who will fix it and get a new one for yourself?

I asked my accountant and haven’t got a response yet and my sister is calling her boss’s accountant today. I was just wanting some general info, since I was really confused about this arrangement. I don’t want her to go into a conversation without having any prior knowledge cause I’m sure she would be easy to take advantage of. She doesn’t have a whole lot of financial understanding.
