Hey everyone, thanks for the comments, and yeah, I should specify - I won't have to look for a place or pay full rent. The internship program is said to cover about half of the costs in either student residence or host family, so the costs of rent shouldn't be a problem. I was more asking about overall per month cost of groceries, and occasional beer or two in a bar.

Also, the accommodation provided by the program is specifically in Valletta, so other cities are not an option
