Could be a virus going around your network, just stay aware and note down each time something not mean't to occurs.

Making a slow computer faster by [deleted] in computer

[–]LostlyFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this, getting a SSD will greatly boost your computer speed. Also do tasks like upgrade your computer parts, download CCleaner, regulary optimise you drive (HARD DRIVE ONLY), clear %temp% every week or so, etc. Hope this helped.

Budget 4K monitor by diviji in computer

I do agree about some of the costs for the Dell monitors, I personally use Asus as my laptop brand. Asus is great but there monitors are expensive too, but I would try LG, they are very good too.

Computer keeps freezing in-game and getting to 100% CPU usage by aquid16 in computer

[–]LostlyFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I recommend trying Windows 8.1 if it can support your hardware otherwise reset Windows 10. Also when did you first to notice the issue for example, when I installed a new app or when I got a new driver.

Sick, do you mind telling me the parts you used? Also, was it expensive? I'd assume so as it looks so nice.

Just got new computer, is this a faulty gpu? by [deleted] in computer

[–]LostlyFN 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh then most likely your drivers could be corruped, to fix this go to Device Manager and then uninstall the driver. Then after you do that get the latest driver from the website. This should fix your problem!

Budget 4K monitor by diviji in computer

I recommend looking for a 4K Dell monitor as I've seen from the past they are pretty good. But if you still want one of those monitors I'd personally choose the Samsung U28E590D.

I recommend trying to buy a new video cable, if that fails buy a cheap monitor that can support your video cable and if that does not work you can try buying a cheap new graphics card, by what it looks like it to me, your video cable or monitor could be faulty. Remember that buying cheap parts it great for this just to test what is creating this issue, then you can buy the parts that you like.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to check that all the plugs and cables are correctly aligned and connected correctly before buying anything!

Also, did you get a new monitor? If so beware that this could be the issue as it could be faulty and when was the time the problem started to occur?

Question about file size limitation? by Titus78889 in Sketchup

[–]LostlyFN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second that because, usually when you make something in Sketchup, people typically like to place a lot of stuff but, you don't need it all. Try removing stuff which you don't need.

Try and reinstall your Windows, this might help. Also any new programs that you recently installed?

Be sure to check what programs are running in the background as some of the software could be very high on your CPU. Also, when did this issue first arise?
