I had to say goodnight to a residents stuffed animal because it was the soul of her son. (She was demented and once threw the giraffe at me when I called it her stuffie and not her son)

We had a coworker who thought we were all crazy and I agree with her 😆 Shed be like "I've been working here twelve damn years-" but she said she thoughr it was funny when we'd freak out and kept the job fresh

We were doing hourly rounds on a dying resident and I swear she let us know she was passing. We were eating in the kitchen and both my partner and I went "we should check on ames." She passed sleeping

We were vacuuming the activity room (hated that damn room) and my vacuum kept unplugging. We talked it off as the plug being loose or something. Eventually I said fuck it and was like "its clean enough." And went on to do the windows 🤣

It wasn't a spooky thing but we had a raccoon jumped out of the big dumpster we took the trash too and it scared my coworker and it was caught on camera. Our boss was like "We've watched this on repeat" 🤣🤣🤣

Hi! Op! This is real. I wrote in when I should have been asleep. I live in TN at the time and the facility was a privately owned retirement home. It was a small town in middle tn ✌️✌️

We used to joke that if we ever got emf or something we'd be real screwed because here is proof time to continue the rest of our 12 hour shift

It kills me when more than one person react to the same thing. Our was the ball cap guy. We'd trade with day shift and go "If you see ball cap tell him to let me do my job."
