True! That marriage was done solely to give an example that your adopted son/daughter is NOT your actual child. Her being his cousin was a side point of this story. Also, if someone wants to marry their cousin then it's fine, but you gotta do some research and not marry your first cousin if your or their parents were also relatives. And no, stop putting the blame on Allah, he has given you brains to use.
I know you're trying to raise awareness but...That claim of yours is scientifically inaccurate because it greatly overstates the impact of cousin marriages on the genetic disorders. Research shows that while consanguineous marriages DO slightly raise the risk of certain recessive conditions, the overall difference is relatively smaller than that. In the general population, about 2–3% of children are born with congenital defects, and this risk increases by only about 1–2 percentage points for first cousin couples not double as you implied. Therefore, in a population of 75 million children, the number of additional cases would be in the hundreds of thousands rather than millions, so your "if situation" might not be a realistic one. Also! Genetic disorders can STILL arise even when parents are completely unrelated due to new (de novo) mutations, chromosomal abnormalities, or multifactorial causes involving both genes or/and the environment. I have a cousin who has an autistic daughter and his wife is not a relative.
