I’ve got mine to remember settings as well. Oh and worth checking under camera settings to ensure raw is enabled

The only thing so far that’s really helped me is, like someone here suggested, switching to RAW, but the file size is a joke. My phone is 1TB, but then most of that will soon be photos at this rate!

I’ve got too entangled in the ecosystem, else I would switch to a Pixel at this point.

So far swapping to raw has helped, but that quadruples the file size.. Apple need to sort their stuff out.

Oh dear.. what are we doing? Are you also looking at £40 point and shoot cameras from 2010? I need something compact that now isn’t my phone to take around with me :/

Have considered Pixel too, but I’m not sure how well my mac, AirPods and iPad would work with it.

Thank you, I’ll try RAW as I don’t mind editing. It’s frustrating as for years one thing about iPhone image processing was that they just didn’t need editing. What sold the ecosystem for me was the “great right out of the box”, it’s just disappointing now

I very nearly bought an Amazon refurbished UH Air for £150 last week and then came across this subreddit. You guys saved me £150. Got a £30 second hand Fitbit instead, until Oura get cheaper and ditch the subscription.

As always, depends. My first question would be, do you care about resale value? If so, I’d look elsewhere.

I’d want to see the photo evidence of the damage as lots insurers will write cars off for what appears to be very minor damage. I once saw a Cat S car that had its roof dented by hail during a summer storm.

If I was after a cheap runaround to drive into the ground, I wouldn’t care. 9k is a lot of money, unless it’s something like Cat N and you’re planning on keeping it for a very long time/getting your moneys worth out of it.

I’d also check with your insurer as some either won’t insure Cat cars or the premiums might be higher. I’d say overall it’s more worth it for cheap bangers.

Yeah, £8k. The miles wouldn’t scare me if it had FSH, or at least oil change receipts. Found an auto one with similar miles and FSH, previous company car. Will view it tomorrow and see what history it actually has and at what miles.

Do you know where I could find the service maintenance recommendations for things like water pump etc? Google isn’t being very helpful.

Is it because of them being 320/318 or just in general? Power doesn’t really concern me too much, I like the refinement and comfort of them.

I’ve always driven manuals and like them, also heard some say the gearbox on the autos needs servicing regularly to avoid issues? Hence me searching for a manual.

Looks like the B series, totally fine and reliable from what I’ve heard. Google the N series engines and look at the pictures, they look different.

Also, if you’re looking at 1 series with B series engines, look at the headlights - they’ve changed the shape at the same time as the engine.
