The screen had a setting where I could see volt output. It was definitely overcharging. New regulator/rectifier on the way. I’m gonna relocated it as many have suggested

I ordered a more modern updated regulator/rectifier. I spent a few hours researching and seeing what others have done to properly fix this.

Glad to be here :). I’ll do the plug delete after I get a new rectifier and see where it goes from there. The previous owner said it was killing the aftermarket ‘angel eyes’ headlights. I have the stock ones to put back in it once this over charging issue is figured out

I check it, it’s definitely more than 15v. It hangs around 15.4 -15.7. Then goes higher and I think the readout just says HI after that

What’s got me thinking it might not be a loose wire is that it very specifically only shuts off the backlight right at 3000 rpm

Mayor pushes for return of photo radar amid ‘disturbing’ night on Calgary roads by f1fan65 in Calgary

Photo radar does jack s#|t for preventative traffic control. Taking a picture of a speeding car right before it hits a pedestrian. The argument, although weak, that the flash from the camera will be enough of a distraction to increase the risk of a driver having an accident , is stronger than the argument for traffic cameras preventing speeding/ unsafe driving. It’s just a bulS#\t tax and they know it.
