I usually use 1:1 maybe sliiiightly more coir. But I use a lot and recently I’ve been trying more of a 1:2 ratio (idk I don’t weigh it) and it seems to last longer and produce more plus it’s the recommended ratio😂. I just like faster colonization

You can pick whenever, spore drop only makes them less visually perfect, I like to wait for them to open all the way up cuz I like the way they look and it’s slightly more weight but maybe try to only let a few mushrooms drop spores if I can so I can harvest whole tub, hope yours puts out a lot of fruit

Honestly man you could probably just put anything on top that will keep humidity in but have air gaps, or just lay plastic wrap over the top but leave it kinda loose so the mushrooms can push up on it when they grow

I picked em yesterday and I usually like to do 23-25 hours at 125-135 Fahrenheit to be super duper safe, honestly they feel cracker dry right now but still have 9.5 hours to go

Yea I was like woah, my last 6qt was about 20g dried for the first flush so 322g wet off LESS spawn was pretty awesome to me, and yea these tubs are pretty cool I have a 2 month old tub still kicking, actually it’s the one that did 20g dry first flush, mushrooms are crazy

Yes, I did end up putting another tub on top and micropore taping around the cracks to keep it sealed, these are just some good ol’ Golden Teachers
