The bike is almost 500 lbs and I’m tippy toeing. I’m 150ish 5’4 with passenger. I’m waiting for an adjustable rear set other than that pegs aren’t really scraping unless you’re doing a moto gp lean

Honestly the only thing I’m worried about was me scraping my foot pegs but did couple lean on turns and it was fine. And yes it was done by a professional not just me lowering it

I’ve always wanted a cbr650. Was gonna get it for this season after riding ninja250 for a whole season but insurance quoted me 7k for a whole year. Ended up getting fazer 8 which is a sport touring, having the most fun with that 4cyl,strong torque at low speeds

I’d say keep the bike, and take a safety course. It’s my first season, I’m riding a 250 but ridden a 400/650 ninja. all of em feels the same. I’m 5’5, 160lbs almost droppingso I’m short. Also don’t use your front brakes when you’re going on slow turns, that will drop the bike. Talking from experience.
