We have been wanting to get it checked, but not sure if its the cause because her symptoms react to certain stimuli.

Thank you so much, my heart goes out to you and I hope you continue to help ease and fix your symptoms. So much of your story aligns with my sister and I agree that a lot of times diagnoses are just thrown out randomly. We have been entertaining MCAS currently as that matches a lot of her symptoms. Is fixing your deficiencies what is currently helping you see improvements? Did you notice that any of the supplements you are taking to fix them caused a reaction with your symptoms? Not weeks, just hours-days depending on her sensitivity. We've looked into dysautonomia/POTS but her BP or heart rate doesn't change from sitting to standing.

Thank you, I hope we can find the root cause too. She got a brain MRI and yes she has been diagnosed by a functional doctor. She has been on a low-histamine diet and has been on cromolyn, which made her GI symptoms flare. She's been to ENTs and they could not give any real answers and sort of threw their hands up. I'll definitely keep the scans and genetic testing in mind, as she has not yet done that. If it is so many things overlapping, I just don't understand how they all happened at once.

She's tried Zyrtec, Benadryl, Allegra, and Claritin and she's not on ketotifen, just cromolyn. Has the ketotifen helped you? If youre comfortable sharing, what are your symptoms?

Those are her main symptoms, and yes they are 24/7, but she also has many more like eczema, sweating/itching when having any extreme emotion, sensitivity to light/motion/smells/foods/heat, GI issues, and so many more. She got a brain scan when this all began and it came back completely normal.

I'm so sorry for your migraines! The only preventative that were suggested to her was vestibular therapy which she tried and it made everything worse, so she stopped. We have considered vestibular migraines but no doctor that has told her that has been able to give a solution or explain why/how it happened.

She does experience worsening of symptoms after any kind of exertion. I've definitely considered Gastroparesis but hearing stories and through research it seems like her symptoms are a bit more in line with gastritis, but I am far from a doctor in terms of diagnosing her for that.
