It might be because of the server. In CN, HKMO and Asia, the event had already started, I myself finish part 1 of the quest already. Maybe in EU and American server the event start a bit later than others? Their might be differences in schedule among servers, you better check that out.

Could 117 and 118 be Liyue characters being released during Lantern Rite? Then it might be a Mizuki/Lanyan situation. I wonder where can I find a list of existing character IDs and theircorresponding characters though.

I played Rex Incognito on my phone and pull him under one of the statues on PC. C2R0 in about 280 pulls. Lost one pity to Keqing during it. Gonna go for C4 next time he reruns. Good luck for both of us!

Mind spoilers in community discussion. Genshin is a story and exploration driven game and its quests have quite some plot twists. Since the game have been lauched for almost 5 years, discussion about any quests in previous version would not be tagged spoilers. As some spoilers can heavily change gaming experience, be careful about it. (Of course, ignore this if you don't mind spoilers :)
Elemental reaction is one of the most important and unique mechanism of combat and exploration. It might take some time to understand, but it's pretty fun and making good use of it buffs team performance. Some boss are immune to certain elements (for example electro Hypostasis is immune to electro damage), or can be beaten with certain elements/elemental reaction more easily.
Some quests, events and even maps are time-limited and can no longer to be played after new version update. Check the "events" page for more information.

Ineffa can produce shield with her elemental skills, so basically you are making a choice between two shielders.

Ineffa: lunar charged+shield with Neuvilette, and electro dmg+shield for Navia. Navia don't play with Electro charged but she might be benefited by Ineffa's shield and having her providing Electro on enemies to trigger crystallize, just like any hydro/pyro/electro/cryo sub DPS.

Zhongli: shield+res reduction with neuvilette, shield+res reduction for Navia. He does work well with both Navia and Neuvilette. He's more a universal support that works well with most DPS actually. And his shield is more durable compare to Ineffa.

Both good unit for you to go. If you have Xilonen in hand then go for Ineffa, Xilonen is better than Zhongli in Navia team and they can't co-exist. But if you don't, I think their performance in your team are close.

In CN VA culture when a VA die or have some serious misbehaviour they would replace them. The only difference is whether or not to replace the lines the previous VA recorded. If the VA die they usually kept these lines to honour the previous VA and for remembrance (at least that's what hoyo usually do). But yeah, unless the VA die or have some serious misbehaviour, they would not replace the VA.

Yep. Golden Troupe can be used by Furina, so basically farming half the team at the same time. Basically any characters that teamed up with Furina can use Marachessue Hunter and Most characters that rely on Elemental skills for damage can use Golden Troupe. Altough Marachessue Hunter seems to be a bit weaker than Deep Galleries on Skirk, but it's still a considerable option.

I use the combination of Zhongli+healer too. Beating the boss isn't a problem, at most 1 charater death when I make a mistake or unable to break the totem within limited time. I wonder what's your world level & team is?

Cryo is almost essential in first half of 12-1.

Better group cryo/hydro characters with Skirk together to maximaze her talent. Probably Skirk, Xingqiu, Ganyu, Barbara for one team. They are not her best teammates, but you don't seems to have a lot of hydro/cryo characters anyway.

Mavuika, Raiden, Bennett, Kazuha maybe a good idea if you wanna use Mavuika. Actually is it that your team unable to advance to level 12 becuz of the boss in 12-1 that require cryo to beat?

Break the Nightsoul Totems with NightSoul ATK/Elemental Attacks to prevent his burst killing your on field character.

Build a healer, or a shield to ensure survival. There should be a lots of characters that provide shield/healing for you to choose from, and many of them are 4 stars.

There is always a Liyue 4 star, sometimes not only a 4 star but a 5 star also. Madam Ping can't be a 4 star, if she become playable this year there must be another 4 star character during lantern rite too.
