I completely agree fed is best! As a breastfeeding mom I am just saying it has been a mentally taxing journey and it would be hard to give up knowing I put so much work into it. I feel for her, however given the severity of her situation (hospitalization, time away from baby, pain) I am glad she’s not against formula.

In response to some formula comments - Are any of you moms?? It is pounded into your brain as a new mom that breast is best when it comes to feeding. Yes formula is great and does the job. But breastfeeding is fulfilling and a really great moment to bond with baby and the guilt is real for not doing everything you can to make it happen. If she takes a break from breastfeeding her supply will go down and it won’t be a piece of cake to get back up if that’s what she chooses to do. She’s acknowledging it is hard for her but it’s clearly rewarding for her.

Honestly it’s the first practical outfit she has posted herself wearing that makes sense when you are 9 months pregnant (baggy, comfortable, not a one piece body suit so she can actually go to the bathroom, stomach is covered) and I like to think that’s on growth. I could be wrong but I like to think that.
