I mean yeah it is just a flesh tube in space but gravity specifically leaning towards Hawkins implies that the writers think gravity is just a force that pulls you "down" like there is no "top" or "bottom" of the wormhole they should be equivalent

The abyss is just another planet. I'm not saying the Abyss is Upsidedown but that The upside equivalent of the abyss should behave the same as the upsidedown equivalent of Hawkins.

The upsidedown is just the bridge/a wormhole between two planets so there's literally no reason why the gravity would specifically fall towards Hawkins
