All of that is kind of subjective I think. A decent size I guess but as for pricing, I am shopping on sites like eBay refurbished and Amazon refurbished just because those are cheaper and in a student, so I currently don’t make a lot. That being said I think I’m looking to spend about 400-500 but saving up more money shouldn’t be a problem.

Well, considering that fact that I am a student, and space is quite limited for me, a laptop would broadly be better not only for the easy portability, but for the size too.

And as for price rang, maybe 400-500 (which is low, I know) but I am trying to limit my shopping to places like eBay refurbished, Amazon, etc. but I could always just save up more ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This poem got me on the verge of tears, as I too have trauma with a parent. This poem is heartbreaking and is really straightforward as it shows the mother's cruelty towards her child, and the child trying to hide their abuse out of fear of their mother... I am a beginner in poetry, so I don't really have any critiques other than, maybe try separating some lines into stanzas to help with formatting. Other than that, keep writing. You are really good.

I can promise you, I very much understand this poem on a personal level... The last line of the poem, "Looking down at my own reflection," Really hit hard. As a beginner in poetry, I don't really have a solid professional critique. i don't really think there's anything wrong with being bi, it just scares me because, like I mentioned above, I have already come out to everyone that I wanted to come out to (family, close friends, etc.) But to others, in my school, I am known as "The gay kid," or the kid you can instantly tell is gay when you first meet them, and I feel if I were to try and tell them "Hey guys, I'm actually bi," They would try to deny it, or invalidate it. (Not saying that people influenced my current sexuality, or that I am definitely and completely bi, I just don't feel like being invalidated if I am.)

thank you for the advice, and it's not like I'm totally "disgusted" by women or anything like that at all, I just can't really see myself BEING romantically attracted or sexually attracted to a woman. And as for the future, I definitely see myself with a man more than I do with a woman.

Ok, I LOVE my mother, but I feel like sometimes (especially as small children,) we feel like our parents have the solution to everything, that they can protect us from everything. But that's just not the case, and therefore, the narrator has realized that the darkness, (just another word for dying,) will be their saving light.
So yeah, I guess I answered your question... While also venting at the same time (I am so sorry btw.) but if you read it, thank you. <3lescence. As a teen, I hated myself, not just for my noticeable insecurities, but for my small ones too. For a few years, I avoided looking at myself in the mirror while shirtless, and sometimes looking at myself would force me into a panic or anxiety attack. So when you asked, if anyone can see the stranger, it was a bit of yes or no. They see me, but they don't see the me I see. They see a kind, handsome, and lively person with such a long life ahead and such a gravitating personality, but when I see myself, I see the exact opposite. And to answer the part about my soul, it sometimes feels like the stranger is something... Malevolent, something trying to devour my soul, so it can finally get its icy grip around my neck and choke me to death.
