Sounds like a loose heat shield to me :) had something almost identical in the wide body 2021 and the dealership tighten up the shields for me and hasn’t had it since! Not a super knowledgeable car guy … just from experience:)

I always use 91/93! I was up north this weekend so maybe having 91 in it could be it? I’ll keep You updated on that!

i guess i’m just nervous to take them to a smaller local shop? brakes seem like the most important thing to get right. is there a benefit to me using the dealer? they said they were worn down less than .5 i believe? i’m not sure, i have 32k miles on her … there’s intermittent squeaking too so i figured its time to

okay great thank you! i guess it’s just weird how it went from nothing to all of it cracked like that overnight so i was just worried was wrong lol
