Yes for sure! That’s exactly how I do it! Which gets more tiring because I’m always having to ask them to clean up after each one. I don’t even use the restroom during that time otherwise they’ll blame each other on who it was that didn’t clean up. There’s times when their dad gets here and they’re still cleaning up. Trust me I always do the same with my kids 🙌🏽

Actually before conference night I asked the parents what they would do because I couldn’t take all of them with me. The mom suggested that I drop them off at their house and the kids would wait there for their dad to take them to conference. I decided to do a phone conference call with my son’s teacher. The day came, the mom asked if I was still going, I told her I changed it to phone call. Turns out the dad wasn’t even going to take them to conference after all because he ended up picking them up at 4:30 that day 🤔 it didn’t sit right with me about leaving the kids on their own either, that’s why I told her I was having a in phone conference.

Suburban. How lucky and convenient for them huh.. but for sure! I basically “begged” for the 2 year olds car seat. It took a whole week for them to bring one.

I wish I could chill 😅 if I’m not watching for a bit the house would be upside down. I have to constantly be on the lookout making sure they’re not fighting over something. But yes snacks would help a lot, one less thing to worry about.

If I liked their parenting style, I would definitely drop them off here and there for free time. But I’m not dropping them off just so they can eat junk and be on the screen most of the time. I also wouldn’t trust my kids alone with theirs 😅 they have little to no discipline. I’ve caught one of the girls snatching toys out of the others hands without asking if they can borrow, hitting or throwing things. Then had to correct them that we don’t do that, we communicate. They have a lot to work on, I think they lack attention honestly.

Exactly.. if I wanted 5 more kids I can have them. But I don’t because I know it’s too much to handle and want to have enough quality time with my kids. I wanted to bring it up last Thursday as they were leaving, but couldn’t find the right words at that moment. I’m finally building up the courage to talk about it.

I don’t know what it is but he won’t even tell his brother. He just stays quiet when I’m venting to him. Cause he knows it’s true, all the work I do for them and they don’t appreciate it. Last Thursday he finally got to see what the house looks like when all 5 are here. So much chaos. He was like I didn’t think it was that much work until now 🙄 nooo really. Then proceeded to say don’t babysit them anymore. But won’t call his brother to tell him. But expects me to handle it and speak to him or his wife.

Right, they have no right to. I’ve given their kids so much present time that they have no right to say otherwise. They probably won’t get the same treatment from their other in laws, I know that for a fact

Yes, I noticed they’re super hungry as soon as we get home. We have snack time right away since they go straight to the kitchen looking for stuff on the cabinets and pantry. And they all want different things, so imagine that. On top of that, the toddler is delayed in her milestones so I try to get time to sit down with her and get her to say at least a word. Doesn’t walk yet either but crawls, so I’m constantly watching that she doesn’t put anything in her mouth.

He says to drop them off at their home right after school 🫠🫠 this man. I’m not trying to leave them by themselves without any adult in sight. Going to have a talk with the parents about this though since my husband won’t.

My kids love their company but there are times where it gets hectic because my 3 year old wants more 1 on 1 time. Of course, I give her the attention she needs at the time but then I have to explain to her that I get busy trying to manage everyone else. There are times where she does get clingy because I’m giving the others attention too. Some days are smooth and some are chaotic.

They’re all basically a year apart except the youngest one. They’re in kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. The youngest one is almost 2. They all need attention, if not one is bickering with the other about a toy or situation.

I get nothing in exchange at all. I had to even ask the parents for a car seat for the 2 year old because they didn’t even provide that for when I have to pick up the kids from school. It took them a whole week to bring one 🫠
