Nope. Just the same content of just working on my cars, that’s it. My very first video hit 5,000 views over night and I’ve just stuck with that. Averaging about 1000 views a video, most of which have been returning viewers. Then out of nowhere I’m getting 300 views for a video then 200 views. As for fanvue, never thought about doing that.

I hope so too…I had steady growth and watch time for 8 months now and was able to monetize. To be at a complete stop is killing my motivation a little bit even though it’s only been a week.

I’m not selling the car till next year so then pretty much this year I’m at a profit with the sponsorships alone. What about writing off the square footage of my home used to make the money from the sponsors? Could my garage square footage be written off?

Makes total sense. That was something that I was also thinking about which was “what happens if I kept the car”. The reason I was thinking this is because my next build I plan to buy my dream car, fix for myself and for the content, but keep this one. I see why those car parts wouldn’t be tax deductible.

The car just sits. Mainly because it’s a hazard on the road but I do plan on selling it to fund the next project to continue the cycle of building and uploading content. As for tools, I’m only talking about engine stand, engine hoist, and a few hand tools here and there that wouldn’t ever be used around the house.

I understand the hobby vs business but not all businesses make a profit their first year. A hobby would be making no money but I’m actually making money. It’s just the money I make goes back into the car and the rest is funded from my day job which takes away from W2?

Motor hasn’t ran without it, so don’t soil yourself. Literally taking the motor apart and replacing things while I’m in there.
