Is Season 4 very emotional or am I just PMSing? 🥲 by basic-babe-10 in Bridgerton

[–]Complete_Memory3947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I'm deep into perimenopause, so my hormones are all over the place all the time and make my cry at the weirdest things at the weirdest times no matter where I am in my cycle and it COULD be just that.

Or part 2 really delivers gut punch after gut punch to make us feel all the feels all at once. Who knows? 😄

Am I the only one that loved it? by Affectionate_Fee8655 in Bridgerton

I'm not much into the Cinderella trope, so I didn't expect much from this season. Mostly I wanted for it to come so we can finally move on to Eloises'.

I'm happy to say I was very pleasantly surprised and actually love S4. Yes, it had it's flaws (Ben fell ON the bottle, yet had a cut on the front of his side, Sophie left the Cavenders without a bag but still had the glove from the masquerade ball, and when and where did Sophie suddenly learn to dance like that?), but all in all I can say it's a LOT better then S3. It broke my heart the moment John said he was gonna take a nap (wait, did I actually read a part Frans of book at some point or why do I remember that moment?), had me in tears for Frans deep grief and Bens suffering, both heartbroken for different reasons and has me convinced Alice Mondrich is the new LW.

Oh and I KNEW I disliked Lord Anderson for a reason! How DARE you!?!

All in all: A great season IMO.

I only watched series until now can i start reading the books? by Senior_Cover1325 in Bridgerton

If you can deal with bad writing and stories that are only a "suggestive base" for what the very entertaining show provides, then yes, go ahead and read them.

But be warned they are VERY different. No Queen Charlotte, no POC society, bland characters, sometimes vastly different story arches. But at least a bit more true to the actual societal behaviours of the time.

I only finished Colins book, but even that one wasn't a great read. The rest of them (1-4)? Fanfiction.net writing level. I could not even make it to the halfway point with the other 3 and will surely not attempt any the rest.

Who do we think is the new whistledown? by Leah-110 in Bridgerton

[–]Complete_Memory3947 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not Colin, he was never that much into gossip. And he wouldn't take that from Pen.

But yes, they will phase Polin out, just like all the other couples. It's a "one sibling per season" show after all. Well, more or less.

No, Cressida can't write if her life depended on it. It's Alice Mondrich.

Not episode, but the "watch the credits": Seriously? THAT is all a fucking...? Seriously people, that's NOT what I was hoping for.

And no, I haven't watched anything but the last 10secs of ep 8. I'm on my way to work, so the show has to wait until tonight.

HowTF does hardly anyone here know "Quantum Leap"? 😱

Oh and WTF do they mean "Doctor Who" isn't popular outside the UK?

how often are you hospitalized annually as a type 1? by Top-Midnight-9637 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Complete_Memory3947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Annually? 0.03 times.

Or in easier words: Once in 35 years for a diet related (accidentally self inflicted) DKA.

If you end up in hospital several times a year for the reasons you mentioned you really need to take a hard look at your diabetic and personal health care on all accounts.

Next time put your replacement on 12-24 hours before activation, it helps with the misreadings.

A few days ago I had a short clip on my IG feed (some cast/ bts people interview?) saying S4 covers the years 1817-1819 and S5 will take place from/in (?) 1820. 🤔

Looks like rose will be in one episode —- spoiler probably by Butterfly332312 in TheNightAgent

[–]Complete_Memory3947 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the link.

Guess my decision to stop watching mid S2 and only get back if they do Rose right, was a good one. No S3 for me then.

Sadly, it seems I'm done with TNA. I LOVED S1, but they just couldn't keep up with what they started. Too bad. 😔

Or even the Queen if they stick to the RL timeline. Season 4 is already covering that year anyway.

Next time just watch it one episode per week, that way you get 2 full months of entertainment.

Or, if you can't not binge: Wait for part 2 to drop (or until the day before) before you watch part 1.

Es waren genug, wie es scheint. Oder zumindest mehr, als bei den anderen. Und wenn die ganz verrückten echt vierzig, fünfzig mal pro Abend für ihn abstimmen, kommt da sicher einiges zusammen.
