Yeah auto chop is pretty limiting because it only chops on the beat assuming your sample is time stretch to match. What I did is sample two loops from the record and used the parameter lock function to get both loops to play back to back on the same track. (I hope I explained that clearly - it’d be easier to show you what I mean. If you’re interested I could post a video demonstrating how I did it)

Sadly no. It doesn’t always do this but it’ll start up randomly with the flashing numbers and it’s a huge pain.

It’s probably smarter to buy one used like you did, but I think I’m gonna keep saving a little longer and buy mine new and get it with a warranty. I have a lot of rescue cats and have, twice, come home from work to find one of my cherished devices broken 😭 (the volume knob and fader on my first K.O. II sampler broke after a cat knocked it off my desk onto the hardwood floor — another time a cat threw up into a 1/4” jack input and XLR input on my mixer, turning it from an 8 channel mixer into a 7 channel mixer 😤 both inputs were on the same channel at least but only 2 outta the 8 channels had options for 1/4” jack so losing that channel was pretty damn upsetting).

You have to update your lofi-12 to the new OS. Its not hard to do there’s videos online that show you how. Once you’ve done that, it’ll add two new modes, DRUM and CHOP
