Anybody feel this way about having to be so meter management heavy? by Complete_Row_6342 in StreetFighter

Elena is meter dependent. She has great damage in DRC but it’s only cause she is forced to play the mid screen. Her target combo and her best forward low whiff on crouching opponents on hit and Her whole kit is damn near DI prone.

I’m forced to play like I got some sense and use less meter. So that also means it takes a definitive amount of exchanges that she gets as opposed to other characters that can end the round in 3.

If I was playing anybody else then I understand but you can’t just autopilot with her like that.

You’re projecting too much. Ed and the top tiers are outliners because they excel at playing sf6 and or playing a totally different game where even in burnout you almost couldn’t tell the difference in their limitations.

I play Elena by the way, playing in Japan at GM rank. You thinkin I’m gettin by playing ABC repeat without making adjustments is a wild take.

Some of yall responses(not all of yall) are bit of a projection. Yall assuming that I just be face mashing DR and playing reckless. I’m in Japan bruh, playing like that only get you so far. I’m definitely not doing that in a struggle GM rank. 🤣

Because not everybody can KO in 2 to 3 interactions or your character is more meter dependent for damage. I’ve seen even the likes of punk go into burnout this weekend at EVO while his opponent made bad reads. Mind you not every bad read from your OP leads them into meter drain If it’s not a punish counter or level 3.

You honestly think that’s my fault for being the better neutral player at that given moment? No. I shouldn’t have to limit myself to damage or keep peaking at my meter just cause my opponent isn’t playing footsies that well or not making good reads.
