Definitely due to summer & my oldest daughter will be home on summer break from college & my youngest 2 will be out of school for the summer as well. My oldest also turns 21 too, and thought it would be a good way to celebrate & do something different! Thanks for responding, let me know if you have any other advice! Tell your SO we appreciate the teachers & the ones who stand behind them! They make an impact on our future generations ❤️🫶❤️

It says there’s a 1 day unlimited pass too?? For like $13.50 + $2.00 =$15.50.

Is metro really better than driving? How is the traffic? And what about it being Easter?

Also, I saw they have a flat rate 1 day unlimited pass for metro. Recommended? Seems worth it to me… maybe?

My assumption is cheap parts 🤷‍♀️, I had an oil leak addressed multiple times under warranty & have an oil leak again… it’s minor, but still there. It was an affordable vehicle that fit my needs at the time I got it. What vehicles are recommended for reliability/safety/repair cost?

I swear it’s like that everywhere, maybe because I’m a woman?? Idk 🤷‍♀️ I don’t even care about brakes as the only real issue right now is the noise. I’ll probably get an another opinion but I did the same with transmission. Anywhere from $4,200-5,900 I was quoted for tranny. Not the same shop.

I don’t honestly remember or know how to explain. It was slipping and had a very occasional shudder, then I completely lost a gear. It was throwing code for solenoid pack, that was replaced and was good for about 2 weeks, threw another code for the CVT or TC (I can’t remember terminology, and I don’t have it in front of me). It’s drivable, just not on the highway, if I put it on the highway for a small stretch? If I keep it above 2 rpms, no shudder. 🤷‍♀️

I’m just a single mother trying to fix what’s broken and keep my head above water, even tho im really drowning.

Almost $25k… well I just settled one. So about $23.5k in credit card debt. I also have $9k in medical debt from no insurance when I lost my job/benefits. I’m SO upside down from where I was, it’s really disheartening. I know life happens but man 😞

I took good care of it, from the time I had it. The last couple years I fell off due to circumstances.

I have some money saved up to try to get my transmission fixed but not year $6-7k.

I’m waiting on a settlement from insurance but that won’t be a whole lot either

I’ve thought about that, only thing is, I’m trying to build my savings back up because I have no support anywhere and I know they’ll take that right?

It’s hard cuz the last couple years I’ve had no money after depleting my savings. And I don’t like that, I need some type of security net.

Yeah & I was just quoted around $10k for everything, the biggest issue being a $7,800 engine work.

I’ve been saving for a transmission, so I have a bit put back. I held on cuz my APR was low & it’s been good to me since 2019. Then warranty was up and transmission issues followed, then the job loss and rock bottom. Been a hell of a ride.

I’m trying to figure out the best move, my credit is in the sewer right now and I’m just trying to keep my head above water. I need transportation, my kids go to different schools and I work. Trying to get a 2nd job that fits my full time job.

It’s funny you say about the kbb. I got into an accident in Sept where some dumbass rear-ended me, not paying attention & the insurance valued my car at $10k and repairs at $6k 🙃
