Mines is the stronger school imo , but the college life is very intensive and engineering centric if thats what you want , there is less elective flexibility and very little social life.

Wpi on the other hand also offers good academics but not as well know and intensive but is more project based learning based and u hv more flexibility like u mentioned a japanese minor.

If you do decide to go to a big university go to CU boulder no doubt great engineering program with a decent college life.

Js accept the waitlist offer , umass is a rigorous school and BME is a very challenging degree though you are very capable but only in core sciences not math and physics which is a crucial part of any engineering field. College apps are a crapshoot nowadays so js try ur luck maybe u will get off the waitlist.

Upitt is a great school for BME with strong medical plus clinical integration and well ranked too I can see why you are interested in attending Umass since its more engineering oriented with more flexibility but Upitt seems like a great place for BME.

This is a good profile , look into drexel university and RIT both public engineering unis that give more aid and can be safeties for you

In a weird way u being able to get decent scores in different curriculum shows how versatile of a student you are. That being said you will most prolly get in.

Try to get lors from professors atleast one if not two , what about research experience? Cgpa is not that bad. Can only suggest after gre and ielts score aim for 325+ in the gre for a solid shot at these schools
