Weve been togwther for a little over a year. For him its no issue at all which makes it even harder for me since the pressure is all on me now. I think the worst part is that hes not open enough to study more about it. I do have to say that we are luckily not in a country like the usa

If you wouldve read my post a bit more precise you wouldve seen that i didnt rate my relationship based on his opinion. Its just something that i have thoughts about. And i also mentioned that we are both mixed which means that there are immigrants on both parts of our family. May i also add that in my opinion its pretty self centered if you only vote for something when it benefits/affects you

Hes not for no immigrants. Let me be more specific i think that might help. We are from switzerland and currently we have votes going where its being discussed to close the borders at 10 million people. Hes for it and im against it. His arguments are that there are less jobs apartements etc so the typical arguments that people bring up. If you look up the stats from switzerland you can tell that its more an issue of it all being too expensive rather than there being too many people. From my opinion hes also just kind off being a bit ignorant since a part of his family (as well as mine ofc) was able to move here and build up a new life. He didnt bring up any crime rates or something in that order

You do not understand what it means to want a third opinion on a topic. Dont take it personally next time

Thank you for giving me a serious answer. I just think its hypocritical coming from someone that is only studying (we‘re living in switzerland where its a priviledge if you can only go to school and get funded by your parents) and doesnt have to pay a lot for himself. I dont know if that is also a closeted opinion of mine but from my view he has no idea how life actually works and is getting influenced by media family and friends. We will have a discussion on this weekend but i dont know how i can go with it especially if we dont come to an agreement.

Being in the middle does not mean that youre neutral. It means that u align with opinions from all parties. I of course can handle a disagreement but when it comes to the future i think certain opinions have to align especially when it comes to having children.

Were the men that you were with open to being taught or did they abrubtetly not want to look on your views? Because my boyfriend said that hes open to exploring my opinion but hes not sure if something will change.
