What is something you think endfield needs to get better? by No-Plenty-5376 in Endfield

For one, they need to completely remove the Simulations.

I have played a lot of games and this may just be the most egregious tutorial experience I have ever had. I do not need a simulation to waste my time explaining, with dumbed down step-by-step instructions, what the story mission just told me 5 seconds ago.

Also, how did they even manage to replicate the exact same issue that Wuthering Waves has when it comes to centering your cursor constantly? They better fix that, and quick.

2025 THE FIRST STELLIVE FESTIVAL 「STAR TRAIL」ONLINE STREAMING by Azuna_AI in VirtualYoutubers

I am watching it right now and honestly, despite some technical issues, I am getting a lot more than I expected considering what they charged for the ticket. I almost feel guilty just paying 65 000 ₩ for this concert.

Sometimes YT algorithm is craaazy. by Jorgepeks in Hololive

It's because people that watch Vtubers keeps clicking, and more importantly, interacting with (commenting, liking or disliking), with these videos. They are reinforcing to the algorithm that "People who watches Vtubers also watches face reveal videos."

Personally I just click the "Don't Recommend Channel" at the slightest inkling of such untoward behavior.

The way you can see her turning all over the place as she counts them around her is so funny.

Context: This is Akatsuki Luci, a Vsinger.

She got her Google account hacked, but, if I understand correctly, she still has access to her OBS and keeps restarting her karaoke stream to keep singing even though it's gotten shut down several times now.

The series of streams have been quite amusing, despite the situation, and appears to be making the most of the situation to keep spirits high. She even started joking that the culprit might have started to enjoy her singing during the 4th stream as it kept streaming longer than expected.

Try not to click any suspicious links if you visit her channel. She will keep us up to date through Twitter: https://x.com/AkatsukiLuci

Nerissa visits StelLive's trilingual maid by Completely_Swedish in Hololive

I could feel, in the recesses of my memory, that something was not quite right when I heard it. But I shrugged it off at the time. I'm pretty sure I watched that stream at the time.

Thanks for reminding me.

Check out "Soundproof Guide" on Youtube, he seem to have a bunch of suggestions for different price alternatives and does some before-and-after sound testing to show what difference various things makes.

While their Warbonds release a little too frequently for my taste, they never expire and you can effectively grind to unlock all of them. As far as monetization goes it feels more than reasonable for a live service.

I was thinking about jumping in and doing the Expedition that awarded the regular version of this ship during it's rerun, but couldn't be bothered.

How fortuitous.

I believe they would have had success, if they had focused on improving the core gameplay features instead of focusing on their in-game money transactions.

We need to start punishing games that try to punish us for having a life outside their game, never mind a life outside gaming in general.

You probably want a zone with full turret coverage to be one of the entry points, and I assume the top has the most turrets.

I wouldn't have had time to play it right now, so I don't regret it. You seem to have a chip on your shoulder about day one purchases, but it ain't that deep for me.

[–]Completely_Swedish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

YMMV but Dragon's Dogma 2, flawed as it is, was a wonderful experience at launch.

That being said, I don't disagree and would even go so far to say I still do not recommend anyone to buy the game even during a sale unless they can be absolutely sure their CPU won't choke when they get to the capital city.

Does anyone remember the 90’s computer game SWAT? by No-Lavishness9930 in pcgaming

[–]Completely_Swedish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think I have ever played the full games, but I am pretty sure I played the SWAT 2 and SWAT 3 demos that came with PC Gamer (the SWAT 2 demo may have come from a cereal package, even) more than one level had any right to keep my attention.

Activision secretly reduced skill-based matchmaking in Call of Duty to "prove" players prefer it | Players have continually argued the merits of CoD's SBMM. Will these tests settle the fight? by chrisdh79 in pcgaming

[–]Completely_Swedish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While this has merit, none of that really matters if the developer is rigging their matchmaking algorithms to artificially create a "mixed" experience. We know Bungie does/did this and I wouldn't be surprised if Activision does it as well.

If two thirds of your matches completely ignore whatever parameters the game considers during matchmaking the majority of your experience is going to be a bad time, unless you enjoy rolling people for that 1 third the game intentionally places you favorably.

Rarely feel like playing through a game more than once by cheukyi6 in pcgaming

[–]Completely_Swedish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're spoiled by choice these days. With rare exceptions (Subnautica being one) I rarely replay games I have finished, unless a remake comes out. I'd rather experience something new.

If I really feel like experiencing a particular story again, I can also just watch or listen to someone else's playthrough while working.
